Tiny alternator

In the quest to maximize or minimize everything, I discovered
that oval track guys run tiny alternators. Powermaster makes
this little gem that weighs 5.7 lbs and cranks out 55 amps at
7500 rpm (alternator speed) and 31 amps at 2500 rpm. I made
a little rod with heim joints to act as a tensioner and
mounted it between the cylinders-nice!
