Floor is welded in

Built a framework for the floor out of thin wall 3/4" square tubing

I realized that by lowering the footbox, I gained some room for
my sneakers, so this is the side view of the lowered footbox.
It's slightly higher than the oilpan.

I don't have enough room for a dead pedal, but at least
 my size 11's will fit in there now.

The floor is 20 gauge steel. Maybe I should have used aluminum
but I'm not sure I'm allowed to use lighter than stock metal between
the firewall and rear shelf.
